This training will be held at the Crystal Tones Showroom in Salt Lake City, a space filled with the most remarkable collections of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls worldwide.
During the first two days, the showroom will become our learning space, creative laboratory and sound temple. Surrounded by a vast variety of bowls, notes, frequencies, sizes and alchemies, we will have a rare opportunity to study soundscape design, Alchemy Crystal Bowl set design and harmonic intervals in a deeply practical and embodied way.
The central focus of this training is the art of creating intentional sound experiences. We will look at how to design a sound bath with structure, depth, flow and coherence, and how different notes, intervals, overtones, alchemies and bowl combinations influence the emotional, physical and energetic experience of the listener.
Being inside the Crystal Tones Showroom allows us to go far beyond theory. We will listen, compare, sense and experiment with many different bowl combinations, discovering how frequencies interact, how intervals can create grounding, harmony, spaciousness, contrast, expansion and resolution, and how the alchemies shape the atmosphere of a sound journey.
This is a rare chance to learn directly through the bowls themselves.
Each bowl, each interval, and each pause shapes the soundscape. When chosen with intention, they create a journey the body can feel, the mind can follow, and the heart can remember.
Sonic Architecture
A sound bath is not simply about playing beautiful instruments. It is about shaping a complete sound experience that supports relaxation, inner connection and deeper states of awareness.
We will explore how the placement of sound, the order of instruments, layering, rhythm, silence, movement and harmonic relationships all influence the journey. Every tone, every pause and every interaction between bowls becomes part of the field you create.
A special emphasis will be placed on set design with Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls. You will learn how to create bowl combinations that feel coherent, supportive, beautiful and aligned with the intention of your work. We will explore the relationship between notes, sizes, textures, alchemies and frequencies, and how to build a set that supports your sound baths, your clients and your unique way of sharing sound.
By the end of the training, you will not only play sound baths. You will understand how to design and compose them with more intention, sensitivity, structure and depth.
The Crystal Tones Showroom
One of the most unique aspects of this training is the opportunity to learn inside the Crystal Tones Showroom in Salt Lake City.
The showroom becomes a living sound laboratory, giving us the chance to listen, compare, feel and explore in a way that is only possible when such a large collection of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls is present in one space.
Core Elements
We will study how a transformative sound bath is built from the inside out. You will learn how to create a clear opening, a meaningful progression and a grounded completion, so the full sound journey feels coherent, immersive and deeply nourishing.
We will work with grounding tones, harmonic intervals, overtones, rhythmic movement, dynamic shifts, silence and instruments such as Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, tuning forks, harmonium, drums and voice.
Inside the Crystal Tones Showroom, we will be able to explore how Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls come together in a set.
We will study how notes, sizes, frequencies and alchemies relate to each other, and how to create combinations that support a clear intention. This includes understanding how a set can bring grounding, expansion, softness, clarity, depth, emotional support or energetic refinement into your work.
You will learn how to listen for balance, harmony, contrast and coherence, and how to sense which bowls belong together within a soundscape or personal collection.
The Crystal Tones Showroom gives us access to an exceptional range of bowls, notes, sizes and alchemies. This allows us to explore harmonic intervals in a way that is rarely possible in a regular training space.
We will study how different intervals are felt in the body, how harmonic relationships shape the atmosphere of a sound bath, and how to create bowl combinations with resonance, contrast, depth and resolution.
Another important focus of this training is discovering the right frequencies, alchemies and bowl combinations to support, harmonize and elevate your personal practice, your client work and the way you share sound in the world.

On the third day, we will take our practice into nature. We will travel to the beautiful landscape around the Great Salt Lake, where we will complete the training with a cleansing salt ritual, our closing ceremony and a sound bath in connection with the elements, the land and the spaciousness of this powerful place.
This final day will be a moment of integration, celebration and offering.

For those who wish to spend more time with the bowls, there will be an opportunity to visit the Crystal Tones Showroom with us on Thursday before the training and on Monday after the training.

Sound Healing Experience
Alchemy Sound Studio was founded by Irina Sterna, a longtime sound practitioner with a passion to share the transformative beauty of healing sound with the world. Her devotion to the art inspired her to bring alchemy crystal singing bowls to her home country of Germany. As her community grew, a sacred space was created to showcase a vast collection of crystal bowls, host rejuvenating sound baths and facilitate educational sound healing trainings and retreats to share her knowledge with others.
