Alchemy Sound Studio offers three training levels: Level 1 — foundational training in crystal singing bowl techniques, sound healing principles, and how to facilitate sound baths. Available online and in-person in Munich. Level 2 — advanced techniques, therapeutic applications, and deeper energetic work. No prior experience is required for Level 1 training. The course is designed for complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners looking to deepen their understanding of crystal singing bowls. You do not need to own a crystal singing bowl to begin — we provide bowls during in-person training. All you need is curiosity and an openness to the healing power of sound. Online training offers flexibility — learn at your own pace from anywhere in the world with video lessons, guided practices, and personal feedback from Irina Sterna. In-person training in Munich provides hands-on experience with our extensive collection of Crystal Tones Alchemy Singing Bowls, direct mentoring, and immersive group sound healing sessions. Both formats lead to the same certification. Many students choose online first and then attend in-person for the deeper experiential component.

All courses are taught by Irina Sterna, founder of Alchemy Sound Studio and a certified sound healing practitioner with over a decade of devoted practice. Irina is one of Europe's leading sound healing educators and an authorized Crystal Tones artist. She has guided hundreds of practitioners worldwide and brings deep expertise in crystal singing bowl techniques, Nada Yoga, and ceremonial sound practices. Level 1 Online includes video modules, guided sound healing practices, downloadable resources, personal feedback sessions with Irina, and lifetime access to all course materials. Level 1 In-Person includes hands-on practice with a wide selection of Crystal Tones bowls, live demonstrations, group sound baths, and direct mentoring in our Munich studio. Both formats cover: the principles of sound healing, crystal singing bowl playing techniques, how to create and hold space for sound baths, understanding frequencies and chakra correspondences, and ethical practitioner guidance.

In-person trainings in Munich are intentionally kept small — typically 6 to 12 participants — to ensure each student receives personal attention, ample time with the instruments, and meaningful mentoring from Irina. This intimate setting allows for deeper connection and a more immersive learning experience. Online training is individual, with personal feedback sessions scheduled directly with Irina.

Level 1 Online: Self-paced modules, typically completed in 4 to 6 weeks. You have lifetime access to the course materials. Level 1 In-Person (Munich): Intensive weekend format, 2 to 3 days. Upon completing each training level, you receive a certificate from Alchemy Sound Studio confirming your qualification as a certified sound healing practitioner. The certification is recognized in the sound healing community and qualifies you to facilitate sound baths and sound healing sessions professionally. For in-person training, bowls are provided in the studio — you can practice with our extensive collection. For online training, having at least one crystal singing bowl is recommended for the practical exercises, but not required to start. Many students acquire their first bowl during or after the training. We offer personalized bowl consultations to help you choose the right instrument, and our step-by-step guide is a helpful starting point.

All trainings are offered in English. The Level 1 in-person training in Munich is also available in German (Klangschalen Training). Online course materials are in English with supporting resources available in German.

Level 2 requires completion of Level 1 (online or in-person). It builds upon the foundational techniques and introduces advanced therapeutic applications. Nada Yoga — The Sound of Ceremony is open to practitioners who have completed at least Level 1 and wish to deepen their relationship with sound through ancient meditative practices. After Level 1 certification, you can facilitate sound baths and sound healing sessions for individuals and groups. Many graduates offer sound healing in yoga studios, wellness centres, retreat spaces, and private practices. You can also advance to Level 2 for deeper therapeutic techniques or specialize in Nada Yoga. Our community of graduates regularly connects for continued learning and collaboration.
